In 1981 the FW Woolworth company fired me from my job as Assistant Store Manager at the local Woolco Department Store, thus launching my design career. They went out of business shortly there-after, so who won that one, right? With no clients, I took a job stocking beer at a liquor store to create some income: a store with a bare back wall. I created my "masterpiece" working evenings for minimum wage while trying to get a freelance design business launched during the day. The store, along with my mural, was torn down in the mid-eighties to make room for a car dealership. I recently stumbled across an old photo composite while cleaning out files in my basement, and after a little photoshop work to straighten the lines, it is presented here, nearly 30 years later:

I've also discovered some old school illustrations that need to be scanned and uploaded (too big for a flatbed).
